Will it be any different for the actors of the Twilight Saga? Again, it’s far too early to predict since typecasting is a fickle beast in the entertainment industry. Often when you’re successful in one area, that’s your pigeonhole. And for some actors it’s a lifelong struggle to overcome. Fans of Twilight and New Moon have already fallen in casting love with Robert Pattinson who has truly exemplified the brooding profile of his character’s description from the novels. New Moon is still in production and there are more films to be made in the Twilight Saga, as New Moon and Eclipse are both on the cinematic horizon. Will it be too much Twilight too quick for the Twilight Saga stars?

Back in 2005, an up-and-coming Taylor Lautner, then 13-years-old, auditioned to play a young superhero named Sharkboy and instantly won the heart of director Robert Rodriguez. Of course, Lautner got the role in “The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D” and would eventually win the hearts of teen girls everywhere as werewolf Jacob Black in the “Twilight” franchise.
Rodriguez says he isn’t at all surprised to see the now 17-year-old Lautner becoming a household name.

My spanish is baad but I can try to translate the german mag captions on this page. The Twilight Vampires on BRAVO! “The forbidden love between schoolgirl Bella and vampire Edward has inspired millions of fans”… “The Bravo chief editor Tom Junkerdorf chatted with Kristen and Rob about huge hype surrounding Twilight”….”Cool! Robert and Kristen writing messages for the Bravo readers….(HAHA ! Kristen was asked to write a short message for the Bravo fans and ) She literally wrote the instruction word for word!”… “How sweet! Robert greets the Bravo readers and wishes them to enjoy Twilight”…..”The ‘Team Stars’ were extremely happy to meet Rob & Kristen”.
“Its awesomely crazy! The current hottest couple in showbiz visits BRAVO in Muenchen.” ” Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart brought that Hollywood Feeling to the members of the BRAVO editorial team.”
(Okay please forgive me if my translation is bad but I’ll try to give you the gist of it ) The article goes on about Rob & Kristen’s whirlwind movie promotion tour from LA to Rome, London and Paris. Having not enough sleep and travelling and promoting the long awaited movie based on a best seller romance. And under their spell are thousands of fans trying to catch a glimpse of the Hollywood newcomers. The movie only opens in Germany 15th January. The film has opened in the USA on 21st November and has since made 115 Million Euros! Insane!! Robert and Kristen became overnight sensations. The forbidden love between the schoolgirl and the vampire has become the maintopic of all fans worldwide. And the most beautiful vampire in the shape of the sweet Robert is widely accepted. Robert then meets the girls from the BRAVO editorial team and says, “Hi, I’m Rob. How are you guys?” (there’s something about his trademark wild hair and how every young girl wants to run their fingers through it) So Robert & Kristen actually goes for a tour of the office. And they find out that Robert is actually very familiar with the German music scene(!!OMG!!). He comes across a poster of Tokio Hotel and said “Hey I’ve seen them before. What are they called again?” then a short while later he mentions another star,”I’ve also seen that blonde singer often. What’s her name again?..Sarah Connor! At home in London I get to watch german music channels. That’s where I’ve seen her before” grins the actor. “It was so nice being with you guys but we have to go back to the hotel now. We have to go to Paris early tomorrow.” How exciting is the life of a star vampire..

New Moon’s official release date in the US: 20 November 2009! Are you excited? I hope New Moon will come to Singapore earlier than Twilight did, especially since New Moon’s release date is around the same as Twilight’s. There is a short article here.
